This new non-profit association was created with the idea of collaborating with all areas of the island to improve entertainment in Ibiza as far as possible.
The founding members of this association are companies with deep roots in the island, and these companies are proud to show off the name of Ibiza worldwide, organizing events and even opening franchises.
We don't think it necessary to give a detailed explanation of the importance of each member to the income of the island, just that they are businesses that, regardless of their size, to a greater or lesser extent help the economy of Ibiza and, as we have already mentioned, show off the name of Ibiza around the world, as well as working with various charities as to alleviate the hardships of those less fortunate as far as possible.
Most of these companies work all the year so that in the high season everything is according to what tourists expect from our wonderful island, providing many jobs in high season and all year-round.
We would like to stress that these companies involve a significant number of employees, about 2,100 direct jobs and 1,600 indirect ones.
Ibiza alone already attracts millions of tourists every year. We have beaches of unquestionable quality, a cultural and sporting offer that is growing every year, some dream-like natural landscapes, a gastronomic offer and variety among the best in the world, and we also have the world's largest entertainment activity, envied and copied everywhere, although it is here, in our beautiful island and all of it together, which makes Ibiza recognized and appreciated around the world.
We are well aware that entertainment companies can also, at certain times, become annoying, so this association has been founded with the idea of collaborating to try to minimize the inconvenience and to reach a point among everyone that is good for all involved, never neglecting the major industry and source of income in Ibiza – tourism, with all its needs and trends.
